AGENTS OF PEACE MET WITH MRS. DORIT SHAVIT DURING HER VIST TO CHILE’S NATIONAL CONGRESS.

Yesterday, March 13, 2007, while AMISRAEL’S Agents of Peace worked actively in the Project to reach the goal of ten million Agents of Peace, proposed by the Directors of AMISRAEL, being fully active and ready to register parliamentarians, among them senators and deputies as Agents of Peace, encountered a pleasant surprise, the visit of the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel to Latin America, Mrs. Dorit Shavit to the country’s Legislative House.

She was greeted by volunteers and delegates of AMISREAL to Chile, who were in the midst of hand delivering identification cards to the senators and deputies, whom already form part of this noble project.

During her visit, Mrs. Dorit Shavit was accompanied by the Ambassador of Israel to Chile, Mr. David Cohen and Mr. Moshe Bashar, Advisor of the Embassy of Israel in Chile.

After exchanging greetings and a short conversation, the Agents of Peace project is presented.  Mrs. Dorit Shavit is also added to the extensive list of important personalities from the Middle East and from the whole World, who struggle for Peace.  Mrs. Shavit expressed the following: “I too am an Agent of Peace. I just arrived directly from Jerusalem.  Today, I give my support to AMISREL in Chile and to the whole world.  And this noble action of collecting millions of Agents of Peace is such an important thing for the world.  I know today you are working here in Chile, but this campaign is made for the whole world, for Latin America, Africa and all Europe.”
