Last week’s occurrence published by international media and even stronger by Brazilians media, proves a rigid sentence dictated without affording a proper and fair trial.

We are in agreement with millions of people, in Brazil and in the world, as to the important work undertaken by Rabbi Sobel during his entire trajectory.

This man with a remarkable background in defense of the human beings, ethics and justice, who works for the construction of a world in peace, is calling each one of us to meditate on the inherent nature of humanity, and invites us to reasonably weigh the methods, elements and judging criteria when exercising a judgment.

Once again we reaffirm our conviction and the greatness of this public man, and our solidarity. Our desire is that he be active again like he was. His leadership is very important to the work for peace.
