AMISRAEL participates in the Immigrant’s Day Celebration
On September 5, 2007, diverse and attracting activities were carried out, where the cultural and economic contributions of the immigrants to the formation of the Argentine nation was observed.

The Immigrant’s Day was established by the Executive Branch, by Decree No. 21.430 of 1949, under the inspiration of Bernardino Rivadavia (President of the Nation). The government offered its immediate protection to individuals from all nations and their families that wished to dwell in the Nation’s territory, assuring full enjoyment of human rights in society. Lands were offered to farmers to work, as well as the introduction into the country of means to explore and exploit mines.
The celebration was in the city of Azul, province of Buenos Aires; there were chant choirs, artistic presentations, community parades, floral offerings, and speeches culminating with a thanksgiving mass.
The Municipality of Azul, its Intendant, Mr. Duclos and the community party organized the event; AMISRAEL – The Messenger of Peace participated in the celebration and received a recognitions on behalf of Mrs. Marcela Silvano and Daniel Bonavita, volunteers of AMISRAEL in Azul and Olavarria, a city near Azul.
