President Kirchner of Argentina delivers the Manifesto of AMISRAEL and AMIA family members to the United Nations
On September 17, 2007 relatives and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack against the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA) accompanies the President Néstor Kirchner to the United Nations, represented in the Manifesto that AMISRAEL launched this past July 18th in Buenos Aires and several interior provinces.
President Kirchner will express his desire to solicit at the United Nations General Assembly 62nd Session, where he will be delivering a speech, the cooperation of all the countries of the world to denounce and identify all nations that promote, protect and finance terrorism.
“The Executive valued our initiative and highly regarded the massive expression of the Argentine citizens,” said Burstein, a victim’s family member of the AMIA, referring to the 100,000 people who signed the Manifesto.
During the upcoming weeks, additional signatures will be collected for the Manifesto, not only in Buenos Aires but also in the interior of the country.

Text of the Manifesto:
This Manifesto is a testimony and a request for clarification of the terrorist attack against the Argentine Republic on July 18, 1994, when the Jewish Mutual AMIA was wrecked.
We, citizens of good standing, petition the national and international authorities complete clarification of the Attack; punishment for the people in charge and investigation of the truth, which is the only and necessary testimony to construct a society based on a culture of peace and justice, and which will be the legacy for our children.
The Manifesto signatures will be delivered by AMIA victims’ family members and friends to the President of the Nation, the Provisional President of the Senate, the President of the Supreme Court of Justice and international forums.
