Panama commemorated the International Day of Peace
On September 21, 2007 an important activity was held to commemorate the International Day of Peace in the regional headquarters of the University of Panama, in the capital city of San Miguelito.

The event was coordinated by AMISRAEL volunteers and Deputy Professor Dalia Bernal, who in addition to her students, gathered over 35 professors of different areas, all of whom were educated on the “Agents of Peace” campaign through chats and videos.
The objective of the event was to establish a culture of peace beginning with students and then reach their families, neighbors and all their friends, as “propagators of peace.”
The professors received written materials which can be reproduced for students. Everyone present at the event was very interested in the campaign and wanted to learn more about it. The activities will begin with the children, with small actions in favor of peace; that peace that is needed so much in Panama and the entire world.
