The International Day of Peace
The Chamber of Deputies of Mexico solemnly commemorated the International Day of Peace with a Conference related to Peace in which diplomats from different countries and of diverse social, national and international organizations participated.

The event was organized by AMSRIAEL, together with the Parliamentary Conference of the Americas (COPA) and the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico.
A call exhorting representatives from all over the world to promote a culture of harmony among the human beings and fomenting full respect for human rights was made.
“Every individual is responsible for their own actions because peace is the fruit of our decisions,” stated Dr. Soto.
At 12:00 o’clock noon a one-minute silence for peace was observed as suggested by the Secretary General of the United Nations.
Alfonso García Robles, the Mexican Nobel Peace Laureate was remembered as a symbol of a country of peace.
The media was urged to disclose safety index rates to the population with the objective to reduce fear towards violence which destroys society.
On this day, white doves in captivity were able to feel the sense of freedom, proclaiming a cease-fire in the entire world.
