Chile present in the Commemoration of the International Day of Peace
The commemoration of the International Day of Peace was observed on Monday, September 24, 2007 in the Chamber of Deputies of Santiago de Chile. This celebration was observed in accordance to the United Nations Resolution 55/282, which invites non-governmental organizations to commemorate the International Day of Peace, together with individuals who strive in favor of Peace.

The active participation of AMISRAEL - The Messenger of Peace in Chile, made possible the invitation and participation of nationally renowned personalities like deputies, professors, students and civic leaders, whom left a message of peace.
The atmosphere of the celebration was warm and joyful and it counted with dancing, singing and poetry presentations.
A one-minute of silence was held in memory of the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks of the Twin Towers in North America, and for the desire of peace in the world.
The celebration was enriched with the presence of important parliamentarians of Chile. Deputies Carlos Olivaires, Juan Bustos, Denise Pascal Allende and Tucapel Jiménez kindly delivered words to the audience; also, the Ambassador of Peace, Crisitan Nieto, Dr. Lupe Salado, and Journalist Osvaldo Silva, confirmed their commitment as AGENTS OF PEACE.
