Women’s Rights And International Peace

On March 8, 2008, AMISRAEL – The Messenger of Peace, at the invitation of Prof. Dalia Bernal, Deputy of the Republic of Panama, who is already an Agent Peace, participated in a workshop given to group of more than one hundred Panamanian women from the District of San Miguelito, at the San Miguel Archangel Hospital.

The workshop was held by virtue of the International Women's Day, adopted by Resolution 32/142 on December 16, 1977. The General Assembly of the United Nations invited State members to proclaim the United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace. That action came on the wake of the International Women's Year in 1975 and the United Nations Decade for Women held in 1976-1985.
