Juanes salutes the Agents of Peace
Colombia, March 16, 2008.
In an unprecedented concert for peace, before a crowd of over 200 thousand, Juanes, Miguel Bosé, Carlos Vives, Ricardo Montaner, Juan Luis Guerra, Juan Fernando Velazco and Alejandro Sanz staged at the Simon Bolivar Bridge, in the border of Colombia and Venezuela to hold the concert "Peace Without Borders." The concert was organized by Juanes, intended to send a message of brotherhood among the nations, and celebrate the end of diplomatic crisis between Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
The Simon Bolivar International Bridge that connects Cucuta with the Venezuelan city of San Antonio was adorned in white, many of the concertgoers and singers were dressed in white as a symbol of peace.
Hours before this historic concert, the renowned Colombian rocker Juanes sent a message of support to the Agents of Peace and the work they undertake worldwide.
"Hello, how is everyone, I am Juanes. Greetings to all the Agents of Peace of AMISRAEL. I send you a big hug. And, well, peace is something that matters to everyone and we should all construct it. Keep going forward so that more and more are added."
At the concert, a group of Agents of Peace from Cucuta were present to support not only this type of manifestation but any other that support peace.
