A cry for help from the South
Hundreds of volunteers and Agents of Peace mobilize in order to help the victims of Santa Catarina. Check out how YOU can help!
Heavy rains do not choose their victims. In Santa Catarina, 1,5 million people were affected in almost two months of heavy rains, with more than 114 casualties and around 78 thousand homeless people
With no routine or expectations of a normal life, people fight only for their survival. That’s why help has been coming from all over Brazil: the government of Santa Catarina has declared state of emergency so that the donations come as soon as possible.
AMISRAEL- The messenger of Peace and its thousands of volunteers have mobilized in the raising of food, water and other resources for the victims of the flood. These donations are being delivered to the people in the shelters as well as their homes.

The main needs
- Drinkable water
- Readymade food ( cookies, biscuits, cereal bars, canned food, sausages and others, easy to handle and non perishable)
- Personal hygiene products, such as tooth brushes, toothpaste, soap, pads and diapers.
- Cleaning products
Important Care to be taken:
- All the food must be within its expiration date and with the package untouched. It must be, preferably, non perishable.
- Mattresses and bed sheets must be in good state, clean and ready to be used;
- Clothes and shoes must also be clean and ready to use. Shoes must be tied to one another and with the size written outside the bag.
- Home utensils must be working and in good conditions.
