In the morning of February 9th, the city of Tartagal, in the province of Salta, was immersed in an avalanche of water, mud and logs. The phenomenon occurred because of the floodwaters of the river that runs through the city. The mud reached a height of more than one meter in some areas bulldozing homes and businesses; the disaster has affected 10,000 people The Agents of Peace in coordination with the Provincial Council of Women in Córdoba began the campaign "De Mujer a Mujer"* in order to collect essential items for those ladies who were affected by the disaster. During the mobilization of solidarity, the donation of personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, alcohol, female guards, toothbrushes, soap, and towels were gathered by them. Furthermore, when making their donation in Tartagal, professionals in the field of psychology provided support to those women affected by the terrible natural disaster.
