The president Álvaro Uribe Inscribe the Bible in Colombia
“And the children of Israel again did evil in the site of the LORD, after Ehud died” Álvaro U. Vélez. (TN1). With this verse from Judges 4:1, the Colombian president Álvaro Uribe Vélez immortalized his name in the Bible inscribed by the Colombians.
In August 21st during the celebration of the 30 year anniversary of the Universidad Autónoma de Manizales, at the “Teatro Fundadores” (Theatre Founders), President Uribe inscribe in his own handwriting, the verse that was assigned to him by Paola Rosero, a volunteer from Amisrael. Paola was not only responsible for getting the Bible to the president, but also for teaching him the value of this project, which has already accomplished the union of several different religions, and the union of the Colombians without any kind of distinctions.
