RESTORATION WORK AT THE “UNIVERSIDAD DE LA PAZ”

AMISRAEL – The Messenger of Peace honoring its compromise to support Universidad de la Paz (Peace University), whom as institution is an Agent of Peace, along with a group of Agents of Peace volunteers, undertook the first campaign to clean and restore the University premises; the work was done on the 7th and 8th of April. This task promoted among university students the desire to maintain the school area clean and thus have an atmosphere of Peace, in which teaching can be done more efficiently.
The work began from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to fulfill all set goals and accomplish significant changes in the University building; monitoring it so that it is maintained clean.
“Universidad de la Paz,” has supported AMISRAEL’S campaigns in Panamá and subsequent to the accord reached among them, the University offered its first floor to setup AMISRAEL’S offices.

Dr. Lucrecia Herrera, Dean of the university made the following remarks: “…To support real causes like those promoted by the Agents of Peace, is to promote security so that these actions don’t cease, but continue on in favor of a better nation in which the fundamental value is an atmosphere of peace.”
At the end of the work, the Agents of Peace saw the fruit of their work, meeting the campaign’s expectations to “participate in events and activities whose objective is the construction of an atmosphere of peace.”
