The commemoration of the International Day of the Shoah was also observed by AMISRAEL-The Messenger of Peace in the city of Boston, State of Massachusetts.

In a letter transmitted by the Honorable Consul of the Republic of Guatemala, Carlos Avila expressed his respect and admiration for the establishment of the State of Israel, which was reached by the perseverance of the Jewish people: “Thank God,  the Lord our God, the State of Israel was created in 1948, by a promise made by the British, and speaking of which, the Palestinians had usurped many decades ago, through Lord Balfour. Guatemala, and myself, cooperated in the creation of that State which today we see so strong and promising, SHALOM ISRAEL," he stated.

Among the personalities whom through their actions revealed their rejection toward any type of racial and religious intolerance were the distinguished journalists, Diego Luis Pena, who is well known for his work undertaken in 2007 in New England, and Pedro Rosales, who is also well known for his important work in favor of human rights among the Latin community.

During the ceremony, Molly Shira, an American violinist played the National Anthem of the United States and Israel.  While Shalom Alejen was being played, a young girl delivered white roses to everyone present.
